PADI Advanced Open Water
Take the PADI Advanced Open Water with us, expand your knowledge and you’ll get certified to dive to 30 metres which will open up a host of new dive sites to you worldwide. You’ll experience diving at Manado Bay and Bunaken Marine Park and you’ll be introduced to a plethora of Indo-Pacific marine life.
Take a PADI advanced course in Bunaken without compromising on dive sites and marine life sightings
The PADI Advanced Open Water has no formal classroom sessions, so unlike your Open Water Course, you’ll just read the relevant 5 chapters in the book (and complete a short quiz) that relate to the 5 awesome dives you’ll be making. Deep diving and underwater navigation are mandatory but the other 3 dives are for you to choose. The Advanced Open Water will develop your diving skills and make you a more competent diver – and it’s a lot of fun!
PADI Rescue Diver
Are you already an advanced certified diver? The next step for you is the PADI Rescue Diver Course – ask any diving professional and they’ll tell you this was the most challenging but rewarding course they took.
You’ll learn how to rescue divers in open water during your program
Not only will you learn how to rescue divers underwater and on the surface, but you’ll also learn about how to prevent accidents from happening in the first place, self-rescue techniques, how to carry out underwater searches, and how to handle both tired and panicking divers.
The PADI Rescue Diver Course will broaden your diving perspective from beyond yourself to those around you. This is also an essential course for anyone who has their sights set on becoming a PADI Divemaster or Instructor.
Become CPR and first aid trained with the Emergency First Responder course
To take the PADI Rescue Diver Course you’ll need to have a current First Aid and CPR Certification. If you do not have this yet, it’s easy to add one day to your program and take the Emergency First Responder course with us here in Manado.
PADI Nitrox Specialty
Do you want to stay longer at deeper depths? When you are diving Bunaken’s amazing walls you’ll be mesmerized by the abundance and diversity of the marine life on show and you’ll want to stay “down” as long as possible. When you are diving with air, 79% of your breathing gas is Nitrogen which limits your dive time. By increasing the % of oxygen (over 21%) you’ll accordingly decrease the % of Nitrogen so you can stay for longer – that’s the basic science behind diving with Nitrox.
