COVID-19 Updates: Travel to Indonesia and Staying at Murex Dive Resorts
The Indonesian Government has issued temporary prohibitions of entry and/or transit (travel ban) into Indonesia for foreigners. The prohibitions are in place until the end of the COVID-19 pandemic is declared by an appropriate authority. We will keep you posted on any updates as they happen.
Our primary concerns are always the health and safety of our staff and guests, and now that guests from overseas are prohibited from entering Indonesia, many of our staff have returned to their villages to spend time with their families.
Over the last weeks and months, our staff teams have received extensive training and education regarding COVID-19 and preventative measures and best practices. We are proud and reassured to know that they are returning home equipped with the knowledge and the ability to share this in their communities.
This is the first time that Murex Dive Resorts have closed both resorts and during this period we will continue to support our staff. Danny, Angelique and family are at home in Manado and our expatriate Managers Thomas and Pim remain in the resorts or at home in North Sulawesi along with small local teams who are keeping the resorts ready for welcoming guests as soon as we are able to do so.
We wish all of you and your families all the best and good health. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates from within the resort and our teams in North Sulawesi.
